Arrive aware. Leave ready.
When you’re regularly moving from one parking location to another, it’s surprisingly easy to forget the little things.
Did you check your surroundings when you arrived? Is there anything nearby that could become a problem later? Did everything get put away before you pulled out? Did you leave the area exactly as you found it?
The Nomadic Parking & Departure Checklist is a practical guided checklist designed to help urban nomads, boon dockers and travelling RVers build a consistent routine every time they arrive somewhere new and every time they leave.
Instead of relying on memory, use the checklist to slow down, look around and make sure both you and your RV are ready.
Inside, you’ll work through:
• Arrival observations
• Parking and location considerations
• Surrounding-area checks
• Safety and awareness reminders
• Before-you-leave checks
• A repeatable departure routine
This checklist can help you build better parking habits, reduce forgotten tasks, improve awareness of your surroundings and make moving days smoother.
It’s especially useful for urban nomads and RVers who move frequently, where every location is a little different and yesterday’s routine might not fit today’s surroundings.
Good Parking Is About Routine, Not Luck.
After years of living nomadically and regularly moving our RV between locations, we’ve learned that the more often you move, the more valuable a repeatable system becomes.
You arrive. You observe. You settle in. And before you leave, you check everything again.
Because a good parking routine isn’t only about finding somewhere to stay.
It’s about knowing how to arrive responsibly, stay aware and leave ready for whatever comes next.
